The Ultimate Grilled Cheese Sandwich Recipe

Ingredients
  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 - 3 ounce package cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 10 1/2") slices sourdough bread
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine, softened
Directions
Beat mayonnaise and cream cheese at medium speed with an electric mixer until light and fluffy. Stir in Cheddar cheese and next 3 ingredients. Spread each of 5 bread slices evenly with cheese mixture. Top with remaining bread slices. Spread butter on both sides of sandwiches. Cook, in batches, in skillet over medium heat until lightly browned on both sides. Serve immediately.
