Crock Pot Hot Chocolate Recipe

A simple and creamy hot chocolate that is perfect for a gathering in those winter months. Just mix it all in the slow cooker and simmer on low for the guests to enjoy.

Ingredients
  • 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 1/2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 6 cups milk
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups chocolate chips (white, milk, or semi-sweet)

Add sweetened condensed milk, whipping cream, milk and vanilla extract to crock pot and quickly stir. Add chocolate chips to crock pot and mix in, so chocolate chips aren’t piled in one place.

Cover and heat on low setting for 2 hours. Stirring occasionally.

Serve and top with whipping cream or marshmallows.

"I used semi-sweet chocolate chips and it was delicious. The problem I had was as it cooked and wasn't stirred, it got really thick! Be sure to keep it stirred, otherwise you end up with a ring of fudge around the edge."
