"This is my absolute favourite banana bread recipe, it's quick, easy and can be customised however you want: I've tried spices, nuts, dates and even chocolate chips. It is always well received usually with at least one request for the recipe. If it doesn't all get eaten and starts to dry out it is beautiful toasted with butter! Love it"

"This was the worst banana bread I have ever tasted. It is dry and flavorless. I did not even throw it outside for the birds to eat for fear they would choke on it."

"I LOVE this recipe. Made it a hundred times( literally!!!!) & it always works. I use 3 bananas. So easy. Lived in the Caribbean 4 1 year & all the banana bread recipes used butter. This is the only 1, using oil that tastes as good as the traditional butter ones. Thanku 2 whoever created this recipe xxx"

"I double this recipe when I know the grandkids are coming and it is usually all gone before they leave. If I have nuts on hand I will make one loaf with and one without for the kids."
