Holiday Coconut Balls Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/4 pound butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup chopped nuts
  • 1 jar maraschino cherries, chopped (4 ounce jar)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup chopped dates
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 cups Rice Krispies
  • 1 package shredded coconut
Directions
In a large skillet, cook and stir all ingredients except Rice Krispies and coconut until thickened.

Remove from heat and add Rice Krispies. Cool slightly.

Roll into balls and roll in shredded coconut.
