VODKA SAUCE FOR PENNE PASTA Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 pounds penne pasta
  • 1/4 pound Butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 cup vodka
  • 1 can Italian crushed tomatoes
  • 3/4 cup Parmesan Cheese
  • 1/2 cup Romano cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
Directions
Cook 1-1 1/2 lbs penne pasta as directed. Meanwhile, melt butter over high heat, until bubbly. Add red pepper flakes, quickly add in the vodka. Simmer for about 2 minutes. Add tomatoes and two cheeses, simmer about 3 minutes. Add heavy cream, stirring to mix, heat 1 minute on low heat. Serve over pasta.
