Sinful Mashed Potatoes Recipe

Messing with mashed potatoes right before serving time is always a hassle. This recipe can be made in advance and refrigerated up to a day before you need them. Simply bake them until not to be ready at serving time.

  • 3 pounds potatoes
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 1/2 cups sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
  • 12 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Peel, quarter and boil potatoes until fork tender; drain.

Add the remaining ingredients to potatoes. Beat with a mixer until smooth.

Pour into a large casserole dish and bake at 375 until bubbly, approximately 15 minutes.

"I made these last night and refrigerated them to bake tonight since my neighbors are coming over. They were SO creamy last night! I'm sure they will be delicious tonight, too. I plan to take them out of the fridge 30 minutes before baking them for 20-25 minutes."
