Old Fashioned Corn Pudding Recipe

Ingredients
  • 5 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1 can creamed-style corn (I use 2 small cans creamed corn and 1 small can whole corn.)
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • dash of nutmeg
Directions
Mix together sugar and cornstarch. Add milk, stirring until smooth. Add eggs, corn, butter and salt, mixing well. Turn into greased 1 qt. baking dish. Sprinkle with nutmeg and place in a pan of hot water. Bake at 300° for 1 2/4 hours or until custard is set.
