Cut bacon into 1 inch pieces and cook over medium heat until browned - drain on paper towels.
Place chopped onion and ground beef in to large skillet cooking 8-10 minutes until pink is gone. Drain beef.
Add beans, pork and beans and barbecue sauce, stir and mix well. Add bacon all but 1/4 cup. Spoon into rectangular baking dish and top with remaining bacon. Bake 45 minutes at 350°. Makes 12 servings.
