Ingredients
2 pounds frozen hash browns, thawed
1/2 cup diced onion or chives
1 each salt and pepper (1 teaspoon each)
1 pint sour Cream
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 stick melted butter
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Directions
In large bowl, stir together all ingredients and place into greased 9 x 13" pan. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes. Note: Optional topping - crushed potato chips and 1/4 stick melted butter/margarine. Sprinkle on top and bake last 15 minutes.
