Potato Surprise 2 Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 1/2 pounds cubed potatoes
  • 1 onion (large)
  • 2 pounds fully cooked sausage
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 tablespoons Montreal Steak Seasoning
  • Garlic pepper
  • Salt
  • Onion powder
  • French fried onions
  • 8 ounces Shredded Cheese
Directions
In large saucepan, boil cubed potatoes in water about 5 minutes. Drain. Pour onto greased jelly roll pan. Slice onion and arrange slices randomly over potatoes. Scatter sausage over onions. Slice butter and arrange over sausage. Sprinkle with steak seasoning, garlic pepper, salt and onion powder. Crush French fried onions and sprinkle on top. Cover. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle cheese on top. Return to oven till cheese is melted.

*May use any kind sausage, substitute bacon, or both.
