Rutabaga (Swedish Turnip) Recipe

Ingredients
2 1/2 pounds rutabaga
1 onion (medium)
2 cloves garlic
1/2 teaspoon white pepper
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 cups water
Directions
Peel rutabaga and cube into 1/2 inch pieces. Rinse well with cold water and put into a medium size pot with cold water. Bring to a boil quickly, lower flame to low, add all ingredients, and cook until soft. Season to taste.
