SCALLOPED POTATOES 66 Recipe

Ingredients
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 3 cups milk or half cream
  • 6 potatoes, thinly sliced (medium)
  • 2 tablespoons onion
Directions
Make white sauce of first 5 ingredients. Pour over potatoes. Cover and bake at 350° for 1 hour. Uncover and bake 30 minutes longer. Shredded cheese may be added to sauce.
