Ingredients
1 green cabbage (medium)
1/2 cup bacon grease
Salt
Pepper
1/2 cup water
Directions
Coarsely shred cabbage into a skillet with a tight fitting lid. Add remaining ingredients, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste. Put lid on and cook on medium heat until cabbage is crispy tender. Stir occasionally. Turn fire off and let steam a few minutes with lid on before serving.
