Crab and Corn Chowder Recipe

Ingredients
  • 2 cans chicken broth (15 ounce can)
  • 1/2 pound potatoes
  • 1 cup baby carrots, cut
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 stalks celery, chopped
  • 1 sweet red pepper, diced
  • 5 pieces sweet corn, cut off cob
  • 1/2 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon Old Bay Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 8 ounces crab meat (cooked)
  • 1 pint heavy cream
Directions
Cook vegetables in chicken broth. Add seasonings and butter. After vegetables are tender, add crab meat. Add heavy cream last, and heat to simmer.

*** If you like thicker broth, add 2 tablespoons corn starch mixed with 1/2 cup water.
