Hamburger Vegetable Chowder Recipe

Ingredients
1 tablespoon fat
1/2 pound ground beef
1 cup canned tomatoes
1/2 cup carrots, diced
1/2 cup Celery, diced
1 onion, chopped
2 teaspoons salt
1/4 cup rice or barley
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 1/2 cups water
1 cup potatoes, cubed
Directions
Use pressure cooker. Heat; add fat and brown meat. Add tomatoes, carrots, celery, onion, salt, barley or rice, pepper, water, and potatoes. Place cover on cooker. Allow steam to flow from vent pipe to release all air from cooker. Put regulator on vent pipe and cook 15 minutes at 15 pounds. Let pressure drop of its own accord. Serves 5-6.
