VEGETABLE BEEF SOUP 7 Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 pound lean ground beef, browned
  • 1 quart water (approx.)
  • 1 package frozen mixed vegetables (large pkg)
  • 2 cups chopped cabbage
  • 2 cups frozen sliced okra
  • 5 potatoes, peeled and cut up small (medium)
  • 2 cans petite diced tomatoes
  • 1 - 11 ounce can tomato juice
  • salt and pepper to taste
Directions
Brown ground beef; drain if needed. Salt and pepper to taste as you go. Cover beef with water. Add frozen vegetables. Boil for about 30 to 45 minutes until the vegetables seem done. Add cabbage and potatoes. Cook for 15 more minutes. You may need to add a little more water as the soup cooks. Add 2 cans diced tomatoes, tomato juice, and sugar. Salt and pepper to taste.
