Batter for Frying Shrimp & Vegetables Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 cup plus 2 teaspoon all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
Directions
Mix all ingredients together. Dip food into batter. Drop into fryer until golden. Great for shrimp, onion rings, broccoli, mushroom, cauliflower, pickles, etc.

*The batter will cling to onion rings best if they are soaked in cold water before dipping in the batter.
