GLUTEN FREE/SUGAR FREE BROWN SUGAR CHEWIES Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup gluten free butter
  • 1 1/2 cups Splenda brown sugar
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 1/2 cups gluten free all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • powdered sugar (optional)
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°. Spray 8x11 baking dish with Pam.

In a small saucepan, melt the butter.

Turn off the heat, add the brown sugar and stir until smooth.

Stir in the egg.

Stir together the flour and the baking powder into the brown sugar mixture.

Stir in the vanilla and the pecans.

Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 20 minutes.

When cool, dust the top with a sifting of powdered sugar.
