Barbecued Country Style Pork Ribs Recipe

Ingredients
4 pounds country style pork ribs
2 1/2 quarts boiling water
3/4 cup white vinegar
1 onion, quartered (large)
1 teaspoon Salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 bay leaf
BBQ sauce
1/2 cup cider vinegar
1/2 cup chili sauce
1 can tomato sauce (8 ounce can)
1/4 cup chopped onion
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon Dry Mustard
Directions
Cut slits about halfway through on meaty side between bones. Put boiling water and vinegar in a large kettle and add ribs. Water should cover ribs. Add onion, salt, pepper and bay leaf. Bring to a boil and simmer until tender. Mix ingredients for BBQ sauce in pan. Bring to a boil and simmer for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Brush ribs with sauce and cook on grill or bake in oven.
