Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 pounds steak or chicken, cut into strips
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 cup carrots, thinly sliced
  • 2 stalks celery, sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 green pepper, cut into strips
  • 1 cup peapods
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 cups rice, cooked

Brown meat in oil; remove from pan and set aside.

Add vegetables to pan and cook about 3 minutes or until softened.

Combine remaining ingredients and add to pan. Add meat and cook until sauce is thickened.

Serve over cooked rice.
