Ham & Broccoli Royale Recipe

Ingredients
  • 3 cups cooked rice
  • 2 packages frozen broccoli, cooked & drained (10 ounce pkg)
  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cups bread crumbs
  • 2 cups chopped onion
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 3 cups milk
  • 4 cups Cubed Ham
  • 1 package sliced process am. cheese (8 ounce pkg)
Directions
Spoon cooked rice into greased 3 qt. casserole (9x12) pan. Layer broccoli over rice. Melt butter; remove 2 T. & sprinkle over bread crumbs in a bowl; set aside. Saut onion in remaining butter. Blend in flour, salt & pepper. Slowly stir in milk. Cook, stirring until thickened. Add ham; heat til bubbly. Pour into casserole dish. Layer cheese over ham mixture. Sprinkle on bread crumbs. Bake 350 45 min or golden.
