Apricot Brown Sugar Ham Recipe

A sticky sweet glaze covers this juicy ham. The other great thing about this recipe is the ham is already sliced in perfectly sliced pieces for you.

  • 10 pounds fully-cooked spiral cut ham
  • 2/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup apricot jam
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard powder

Preheat oven to 275 degrees F. Place the ham, cut side down, onto a sheet of aluminum foil

Mix together the brown sugar, apricot jam and mustard powder in a small bowl. Brush onto the ham using a pastry or barbeque brush. Reserve any leftover glaze.

Enclose the foil around the ham and place on a rimmed baking sheet. Roast for 2 hours in preheated oven. Apply the remaining glaze 20 minutes before the ham is done.

NOTE: If your ham is a different size figure 12 minutes per pound.

"I didn't have a spiral ham but I used this recipe anyway and it turned out great. I made up an extra batch of glaze to serve with the ham. I just heated it in the microwave until the brown sugar was melted with the jam and then served it warm."
