| Made from steel, plastic or wood, this utensil is designed for use in serving individual pieces of pie, quiche, tart, or any food item that is cut into wedge-shaped slices. The most common design for the Pie Server is the flat, triangular-shaped serving surface with a handle attached. Some Pie Servers may be more pointed on the serving end and may have a serrated edge along one side of the Server that is made for cutting through crusts and firmer foods. This type of Server may also be referred to as a serving spatula or a pie spatula. |
