Pronounced bar doe lee no. Regional red wine from from the Bardolino village along Lake Garda in the Veneto region of Northeast Italy.
Blends: Blended from several grape varietal which may include Corvina, Rondinella, Molinara, and Negrara, among others.
Characteristics: Bardolino is commonly described as light, slightly sweet, slightly bitter, delicate, crisp, dry, garnet red wine with a fruity bouquet and tart aftertaste. Bardolino is sometimes produced as slightly sparkling.
Ageing: Best drunk while young.
Serving temperature: Best served at 54-55ยบ F.
