Pappardelle Pasta  
A wide flat ribbon pasta that is approximately 5/8 to 1 inch in width. It is available with straight edges or rippled edges. It is often served with vegetable or meat sauces and dishes such as ragù, hearty meats, and pot roasts. Like many pastas, pappardelle can be broken into pieces and added to hearty soups or stews.
