Bavarian Cream  
A rich dessert made from combining gelatin with an egg custard and then blending it with whipped cream. It is set in a mold, thoroughly chilled, and then removed from the mold. There are many varieties that are made with other flavorings added to the mixture such as chocolate or pureed fruit.
