Defrost Hens overnight in the refrigerator. Insert into empty cavity of each bird 1/2 onion, 1/2 Lemon and 1 crushed clove of garlic. Cover bottom of baking pan with melted butter and olive Oil.Place Hens into pan with Butter and Oil. Rub oil and butter over birds and add salt and pepper to taste. Bake at 300° for 1.5 hours. every 1/2 hour bast birds with sauce in the pan.
To serve remove onion and lemon, squeeze cooked lemon over top of birds. Enjoy!!!
