| Directions | Fry bacon until crisp in a skillet, drain leaving bacon fat in skillet. Pour the 3 cups of boiling water over the liver, drain and dry. Dredge the liver with seasoned flour and sauté in skillet until lightly browned on all sides. Lay in greased 1 1/2 qt. casserole. Cover with onions. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and add the 1/2 cups hot water. Crumble bacon on top. Cover and bake in a moderate oven at 350° for forty minutes. |
