| Directions | Boil thinly slice potatoes in salted water. Butter a 7 1/2 x 11 1/2-inch baking dish. Arrange 1/3 of potatoes in the dish, top with half the onions and half the cheese. Repeat layers, ending with potatoes. In a small bowl beat eggs, milk and pepper, pour over the potatoes. Sprinkle top evenly with bread crumbs. Bake 10 to 15 minutes longer. Serves 6 to 8. |
