| Directions | Brown hamburger or venison in pan. In separate pan, sauté peppers and onion. In a large crock pot, mix tomatoes, sauce, chili powders, chili beans (with liquid), and drained kidney beans. Add meat and peppers and onions to crock pot. Add more hot chili powder if desired. Simmer on low for at least 4 hours. Serve with shredded sharp cheddar cheese. |

- | | 1 sweet onion (large) |
- | | 1 green bell pepper |
- | | 1 orange bell pepper |
- | | 1 red bell pepper |
- | | salt and pepper to taste |
