Swiss Cheese Chicken - Recipe

Serve this chicken dish over rice. This is a great starter recipe to make it your own. Use American cheese if you prefer, or use broth or milk in place of the wine. Great for unexpected company as most of the ingredients you'll already have on hand.

Swiss Cheese Chicken Recipe
Directions
Preheat oven to 350°. Grease baking dish.

Lightly salt and pepper the chicken and place in a baking dish. Cover the chicken with the cheese slices.

Mix soup, wine and seasonings; pour over the chicken. Top with croutons. Pour melted butter over stuffing.

Cover dish with foil. Bake covered for 30 minutes.

Remove cover and bake additional 30 minutes.

-8 boneless chicken breasts
- salt and pepper, to taste
-8 slices Swiss cheese
-1 can cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
-1/2 cup white wine
-1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
-1/2 teaspoon celery salt
-1 package seasoned croutons
-1/2 stick butter, melted
