| Directions | In a 5-6 qt sauce pan, combine apples & water. Cover and cook slowly until tender. Drain & measure 4 1/2 cups apples & return to the pan. Add sugar & butter to pan. Bring to a full rolling boil, stirring constantly. Quickly stir in pectin, return to a full rolling boil. Boil 1 minute, stirring constantly. Remove from heat, skim off foam & stir in spices. Put into hot sterile jars & seal. Yields 7 - 1/2 pts. |
