| Directions | Heat oven to 375°F. In large bowl, beat sugar, sour cream, butter, shortening, molasses, and egg with electric mixer on medium speed (or mix with spoon). Stir in remaining ingredients. (Dough will be very sticky, but they turn out great!) On ungreased cookie sheet, drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls about 2 in. apart. Bake 9-11 minutes or until almost no indentation remains when touched in center. Cool 1-2 minutes; remove from cookie sheet to wire rack. Sprinkle with additional sugar while warm. Very plain, but tasty cookie. Good with frosting, too! |
