| Directions | Prepare cake mix as directed on box. Pour in a 9"x13" cake pan. While it is cooling, mix up a package of colorful Jell-O (black cherry, strawberry, etc.) Punch holes in the cake with a toothpick, and dump the liquid Jell-O over the cake. "Frost" with Cool Whip and refrigerate. Can get a little fancier by using a white cake mix, orange jell-o and garnish the top with canned mandarin slices. Or use strawberry jell-o and garnish with fresh strawberries. |
