Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Grease a 9x13 inch pan. Over medium-high heat, brown ground beef in a large skillet; drain off fat. Add tomatoes, water, taco seasoning and green chilies. Simmer on medium, covered, for 10 minutes. Combine cottage cheese and eggs; set aside. Place 2 flour tortillas or 4 corn tortillas on the bottom of the pan. Spread with 1/4 of the cottage cheese mixture. Top with 1/4 of the meat mixture. Repeat to create 4 total layers. Top with shredded cheese. Bake for 20 minutes. |
