| Directions | Bring water to boil in top of double boiler. Sprinkle on whole wheat flour stirring briskly to prevent lumping. Add sugar, figs and salt. Cook in double boiler until figs are tender. Add walnuts. Chill. Serve with real whipped cream. Can be put in a fluted mold. You can also garnish with maraschino cherries. |
