| Directions | Cake: cream butter and sugar. Add eggs. Beat well. Add apples. Mix. Add dry ingredients, mixing well between each. Bake at 350°, greased and floured 9x13" pan, 35 - 40 minutes. Pour sauce* over cake IMMEDIATELY AFTER TAKING OUT OF OVEN. Cool. Sauce: heat all ingredients together. Do not boil. Pour over cake immediately after removing it from the oven. |
