| Directions | For cake, Sift flour and sugar. Add brown sugar, shortening and milk. Mix enough to dampen flour. Beat 2 minutes on low speed. Add 2 eggs and 2 egg yolks and nuts. Beat 1 minute. Bake at 300 in 3 cake pans for 25 minutes or until done. For frosting, cream vegetable shortening and margarine. Add salt. Beat egg whites. Add confectioners' sugar and warm milk. Blend well. |
