For Cream Puffs: Boil water. Then add butter. Bring back to a boil. Add flour and stir vigorously. Remove from heat as soon as it is mixed. Add each egg singly mixing each thoroughly. Drop by spoonful on well-greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350° till golden brown and done. Set aside to cool.
For Cream Filling: In double boiler, combine dry ingredients. Stir in cold milk. Cook until thickened, stirring constantly. Cook 10 minutes covered. Beat eggs (or egg yolks). Add eggs to hot mixture and cook 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Add vanilla and remove from heat to cool. After filling has cooled fill cream puffs.
