Pecan Tassies - Recipe

PECAN TASSIES. Serves 5-6 dozen. A finger food cake treat.

Directions
  • Mix the cream cheese, margarine, and flour together with hands, form a ball, and chill for one hour.
  • Mix filling ingredients together until well blended.
  • Roll out chilled dough a little at a time on floured surface and cut with round cutter. Put in mini-muffin pans, fill 3/4 full with filling. Bake at 400 degrees F. for 15 minutes.

-8 ounces cream cheese, softened
-1 cup margarine, softened
-2 cups flour
- FILLING:
-4 eggs, beaten
-3 cups brown sugar
-1/4 cup butter, melted
-2 teaspoons vanilla
-dash salt
-1 1/2 to 2 cups chopped pecans
