| Directions | - Heat oven to 375 degrees F. In a large bowl, stir cookie mix, butter, egg, and flour until soft dough forms. Stir in peppermint candies.
- Shape dough into 3/4 - inch balls. On ungreased cookie sheets, place balls 2 inches apart.
- Bake 8-10 minutes or until edges are light golden brown. Cool 5 minutes; remove from cookie sheets to cooling racks.
- Frost cookies with vanilla frosting and sprinkle with red colored sugar if desired or additional crushed candies if desired.
