| Directions |
- 1.Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Spread 9x13 baking dish with bread pieces. Drizzle melted butter over bread. If desired, sprinkle with raisins and apples.
- In a medium mixing bowl, combine eggs, milk, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla. Beat until well mixed. Pour over bread; press lightly until bread is covered and soaking up the egg mixture.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the top springs back when lightly tapped.
- In a chilled bowl, beat whipping cream until soft peaks form. Add sugar and vanilla; whip until stiff peaks form.
- Serve over warm bread pudding.
