- Brown hamburger, then add all ingredients to large pot and simmer on the stovetop for 1 hour. You can even use the crock pot for this recipe, just cook ingredients in the crock pot on the low setting for approximately 6 hrs. Sometimes I double the recipe and freeze some for later!
