| Directions | Peel, core and slice apples. Place in a buttered two-quart casserole. Sprinkle with the sugars and cinnamon. Cream butter and sugar; add egg and beat until fluffy. Sift together baking powder and flour. Add to creamed mixture alternately with milk and vanilla. Spread over apples. Bake at 350° for one hour. |
