| Directions |
- Set out 6 pieces of plastic wrap for shaping and wrapping the bars. Do this first; you'll have sticky fingers when you need it.
- In a food processor, process dates, cherries, cinnamon, and salt into a paste.
- Add nuts, and process until finely chopped and well incorporated into date mixture.
- Divide mixture into 6 equal portions. Place each portion on a sheet of plastic wrap, wrap the plastic around it, and squish into a bar shape. Press against your countertop to help flatten. (Should be approximately 3-1/2 inches long, 1 inch wide, and 3/4 inch thick.)
- Alternately, you can roll these into 1-inch balls, then roll the balls in finely chopped nuts, cocoa powder, chocolate sprinkles, coconut, etc.
- These may be stored in the refrigerator indefinitely, but I doubt they'll last long!
