Beat eggs, sugar and oil. Add dry ingredients alternately with buttermilk. Add raisins. Bake at 350° for 35 - 40 min.
While cake is baking, prepare topping. Boil 3 min. Punch holes in cake with a fork while cake is still hot and pour topping slowly over cake, using a spoon to help glide topping into holes.
