| Directions |
- Crumble and brown sausage in large skillet. Pour off excess fat.
- Add chopped vegetables and saute until tender. Cover; set aside.
- Combine soup mix with boiling water in saucepan.
- Stir in rice, cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
- Add rice to sausage mixture, along with salt.
- Pour into greased baking dish. Sprinkle with almonds. Drizzle with melted butter.
- Bake, uncovered at 375 degrees for 20 minutes.
