| Directions |
- Place kielbasa, brown sugar, pepper and onion in large pot.
- Cover to the top of kielbasa with water and bring to a boil.
- Heat over medium flame for 90 minutes to 2 hours, until the brown sugar caramelizes over kielbasa and turns a dark red, onions will disintegrate in the caramelization process.
- Stir occasionally and turn down heat if kielbasa start to burn.
