| Directions |
- Heat oven to 400 degrees to toast the bread.
- Shape beef into 4 thin patties.
- Coat a large skillet with cooking spray. Over medium-high heat, add patties and cook 4 minutes on each side or until done.
- In another skillet, melt butter over medium-high heat. Add onion. Cook until translucent. Add garlic and mushrooms; sauté 3 minutes.
- Add flour into mushroom mixture. Cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
- Stir in beef broth and cook until thick. Remove from heat.
- Place bread slices on a baking sheet, spraying tops lightly with cooking spray. Bake for 3-5 minutes or until golden brown. Keep a close eye on so they don't burn.
- When patties are almost done, top with cheese. Cook for 1 minute to melt cheese.
- Place patties on a bread slice. Top with mushroom mixture and remaining bread slices.
