| Directions |
- Mix onion, garlic, and whiskey in saucepan and cook for about 9 minutes.
- Remove from heat and flame mixture for about 20 seconds.
- Add remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil, then turn down to low heat and simmer for about 15 minutes; stir continuously.
- Allow sauce to sit and gain flavor for one (1) hour.
- Reheat to thin sauce and run it through a medium strained to remove chunks of onion and garlic.
- Store sauce in refrigerator; it improves with age.
- The strained onion and garlic make a great chip dip.
Note: onion and garlic bits can be left in the sauce if you prefer the chunky style of sauce. |
